The oscillator is where sound starts. Four waveshapes, one knob for pitch, infinite character. The heart of every synth voice, hardware or software.
The VCO (Voltage Controlled Oscillator) is where sound starts. It makes a tone. You choose the pitch with the Coarse knob and the shape of the wave with the output jack you pick.
There are four outputs: SIN (smooth, hollow), TRI (slightly brighter), SAW (buzzy, full of harmonics), SQR (hollow and woody). Same pitch, different character.
Try it. The Coarse knob is unlocked. Unplug the current cable and plug a different waveform into the Output to hear the difference.
