Now send the same envelope that gates the VCA into the filter cutoff. Each note gets a plucky filter sweep that tracks the rhythm.
The envelope is already gating the VCA. The same envelope can also open the filter on every note.
Patch ADSR ENV into Filter FREQ CV. You now have two cables coming out of the ENV output - one to the VCA, one to the filter. That is normal and expected.
Every note now starts dark, pops open briefly, then closes back down. This is the sound of a thousand techno, ambient, and synth-pop records.
